Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with presales and program
management experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have
at least 7 years of proven experience in managing complex projects and supporting presales
activities. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a
successful track record in both project delivery and presales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead a multidisciplinary project team through all phases of project planning,
execution, and closure.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management
and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues to ensure project
goals are achieved.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
Manage and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative team
environment.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes.
Presales Activities:
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify client needs and
develop tailored solutions.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to showcase
company capabilities.
Conduct technical and business requirement analysis to ensure alignment with client
expectations.
Develop and present project plans, timelines, and cost estimates to potential clients.
Support the preparation of RFP/RFI responses and other presales documentation.
Program Management:
Oversee multiple projects within a program, ensuring strategic alignment and
coherence.
Coordinate program activities and dependencies, managing risks and resolving issues
at the program level.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to project managers within the program.
Ensure program objectives are met within the stipulated timeframes and budget
constraints.
Report program status, progress, and outcomes to senior management and
stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a
related field. PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum 7 years of experience in project management with significant exposure to
presales activities.
Strong program management skills with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple
projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record in developing and presenting project proposals and solutions to
clients.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) or related fields.
Experience working with Fortune 50 clients or large-scale enterprises.
Familiarity with digital-driven strategies and automation solutions.
Advanced certifications such as PgMP (Program Management Professional) or Agile
certifications.
